What qualifies?
U.S. eligible purchases only for bonus categories. Superstores and warehouse clubs do not qualify as supermarkets. Gas bonuses exclude stations inside supermarkets and warehouse clubs. Online retail requires online payment; in-store payment, digital-wallet payments in-store, and buy-now-pay-later do not qualify. Services, travel, restaurants, and online groceries are excluded.

Modeled as Reward Dollars redeemed for statement credit.
What this estimate leaves out
Enrollment-based statement credits and promotional offers are not valued. Online drugstore purchases can qualify for online retail rewards but are excluded from this model because categories overlap.
The calculation assumes full payment and does not include interest, foreign transaction charges, or other fees. This is a rewards comparison, not a credit or borrowing-cost recommendation.
