Credit card rewards are easier to understand when you can see what they would mean for an ordinary month.
Best Credit Card Rewards is a small independent project by Doug Kerwin. It starts with a simple question: how do the ongoing cash-back rates of a few familiar cards compare for the way you spend?
A useful calculation, with its limits visible
You bring approximate spending amounts. The calculator applies published rules and shows the result. There is no credit-report lookup, application handling, or hidden “fit score.” Our methodology describes what is included and what is left out.
Small by design
This first edition covers six selected U.S. cards and a handful of explanatory guides. It is not a complete market survey or a substitute for reading an issuer’s terms. We do not claim financial-adviser credentials or issuer endorsements.
How this project is funded
It is independently funded. This version has no paid placements, affiliate commissions, or display advertising. If that changes, we will disclose the relationship and update the relevant pages.
